Binders & Organization

Binders let you sort your collection into named, color-coded groups — the digital equivalent of tabbed binder dividers. You fill and manage them from filing mode, and you can filter your collection by binder from the sidebar.

Filing Mode

Click the Binders button (top-right of the collection toolbar) to open filing mode. A binder pane opens alongside your cards — it resizes the grid on desktop and docks at the bottom of the screen on phones — so your collection stays fully visible and interactive the whole time.

While filing mode is open, the normal card actions (view, edit, trade, delete, and so on) are turned off so you can't trigger them by accident. Click Binders again to leave.

Filing Cards

Pick a target binder in the pane — it highlights and the header shows what you're Filing into. Then you have two ways to file:

Tap to file — tap any card and it drops into the selected binder instantly.

Drag and drop — drag a card from the grid onto any binder, the Trade row, or the Trash row in the pane. Dragging works no matter which target is selected.

A card belongs to one binder at a time; filing it somewhere new moves it out of the old one. Each card keeps a small colored badge in your collection showing which binder (or Trade) it's in.

Creating & Managing Binders

The pane is also where you manage binders. Use New binder to create one — give it a name and pick a color: White, Blue, Black, Red, Green, Colorless, or Multicolor. The swatches match those actual colors. Every binder row has edit and delete controls to rename, recolor, or remove it. Deleting a binder doesn't delete its cards — they simply become unassigned and appear in your collection without a binder label.

Trade & Trash

The pane has a permanent Trade row, separate from your named binders, for marking cards as for-trade — drag a card onto it, or set it as your target and tap. For-trade cards get an amber badge and appear on your public tradelist if you've made that section of your profile public. There's also a Trash row: drag a card onto it to delete a copy.

Filtering by Binder

Once cards are sorted, the Binder filter in the collection sidebar lets you view just the cards in a specific binder. Handy if you keep separate binders for Commander staples, trade stock, or a set you're trying to complete.

Bulk Filing

To file a lot of cards at once, use Select Multiple, pick your cards, and use the bulk Add to... menu to send them all to a binder or Trade.
