AI Features
There are three places the app uses AI, and they don't all work the same way. Here's the honest breakdown.
Card Scanning — Free, Unlimited, Always
The scanner is free for everyone and there's no cap on it. Scan ten cards or ten thousand.
This isn't a limited-time thing or a trial. Cataloging your collection is the whole point of the app, and putting a meter on the front door would be a strange way to run it. Scanning is not counted against anything below.
Deck Suggestions
The four suggestions in the deck builder. Asking for suggestions on a deck for the first time, or hitting Refresh, generates a fresh set.
What doesn't cost you anything: the suggestions updating as you add and remove cards. Once a set has been generated for a deck, the app keeps reusing it and just re-picks which four to show. Only genuinely new suggestions count.

What You Get
Free accounts get 3 Pro Analyses and 5 deck suggestion generations. They're separate pools — using up your analyses doesn't touch your suggestions.
When you're running low the app tells you how many you have left, right next to the button, so you're never surprised by it. When you're out, the button greys out and says so.
Paid tiers aren't live yet. If you're reading this and your account has AI enabled, you have unlimited access to all of it and you won't see a counter anywhere.
Where the Numbers Come From
The scanner uses Gemini's vision model. Suggestions and Pro Analysis use a text model with your deck contents, your commander, and — for Pro Analysis — your collection. Card data comes from the card database, not from the model, so a suggestion is always a real card that really exists.
It can still be wrong about whether a card is good in your deck. It's a strong second opinion from something that has read an enormous amount of Magic discussion. It is not a deckbuilding oracle, and if it suggests something that makes no sense to you, trust yourself.
