Pricing & Values

Prices are sourced from Scryfall's bulk data feed and updated daily. You'll see them everywhere — on individual cards in your collection, on search results, on scanned cards in the queue, and rolled up into collection and deck totals.

Price Types

Cards can have up to four price variants:

When you're viewing a card, the displayed price is chosen based on the card's finish (foil vs. non-foil) and your region. If an exact price isn't available — usually because a card is so new or so obscure that market data is thin — you'll see an "Estimated" badge. That means a conversion or approximation was used, and you should double-check before making trade decisions based on it.

How Your Collection Value Is Calculated

The total collection value in the header is a simple sum: for each card you own, price × quantity. Foil copies use foil pricing automatically; non-foil copies use regular pricing. That number reflects the current day's prices, so it'll shift as markets move.

Foil Tracking

Foil status is tracked separately for every card in your collection. The AI scanner detects foil during scanning. You can also toggle any card to foil (or non-foil) in the collection editor. Setting a card to foil immediately switches it to foil pricing everywhere it shows up.

A Note on Accuracy

Scryfall's prices come from major marketplace aggregators and are generally a solid reference point, but they're not real-time and they lag actual buylist or immediate sale prices. For anything you're seriously buying or selling, cross-reference with the current active listings on whatever marketplace you're using. The prices here are a good baseline — not a final answer.
