The Feed
Once you're signed in, the front page is a feed. It's the first thing you see,
and for a long time it was the only part of the app nothing here described.
What lands in it
Nothing, unless somebody chooses to put it there. There is no automatic
posting: adding a card, building a deck, or scanning a stack publishes nothing.
The feed fills up only when you or a friend deliberately shares something.
That's the whole design. A collection is a private thing with money attached,
and a feed that broadcast every purchase would make people play with the app
less, not more.
Publishing
Wherever something can be shared there's a Share button: on a deck, on your
collection, on your tradelist and wishlist. Pressing it writes one post. The
post carries a link and a picture, not the contents, so what people see is
whatever that page already shows a visitor.
A post respects the same visibility rules as the page it points at. Share a
deck and then make it private, and the post stops appearing. Nothing you have
not made public can arrive in somebody's feed by way of a share.
Friends and Global
Two tabs. Friends is posts from people you have added. Global is
everyone's public posts, which is where to look when you want to see what other
people are building rather than only your own circle.
Blocking somebody removes them from both, in both directions.
If it's empty
An empty feed means nobody has shared anything yet, not that something is
broken. The quickest way to see it work is to share one of your own decks.
